Contractor Training Pro is run by an independent construction professional with more than 20 years in specialist flooring, waterproofing, resin systems, construction chemicals, estimating and tendering.
What we do
We help specialist contractors, quantity surveyors and suppliers avoid expensive mistakes in tenders. That means tender reviews, free estimating tools, quote templates and short training courses, all built around problems that cost money on real jobs: scope that sits in the wrong bill, quantities that do not add up, contract terms nobody read, and floors that fail because the substrate was not ready.
How our work is done
- Every finding names its source. Each issue states the document and page it came from, so you can check it yourself.
- People check the output. Documents are read with AI and fixed rules written by estimators, and every report is reviewed by an experienced person before it is sent.
- Calculators are plain code. Quantities and coverage are calculated with fixed formulas, never guessed by AI, and the working is shown.
- Data sheets decide. Where a general guide and a manufacturer's data sheet differ, the data sheet wins. We say so wherever it matters.
- Your files stay private. Uploaded documents are used only for your review, never used to train AI models, and deleted 90 days after delivery unless you ask us to keep them.
What we do not do
We do not give legal advice, and we do not publish client tender data. Our guides and templates are general information for contractors. Have a lawyer review your contract terms and adapt any sample wording to your jurisdiction.
Who it is for
Contractors and subcontractors pricing a tender, quantity surveyors and architects issuing one, and suppliers or engineers checking that a product meets a specification. We work with any tender written in English, under FIDIC, JCT, NEC, JBCC, AIA, CCDC, AS 4000 or bespoke contracts. Prices are in US dollars, and the courses work with any currency and with metric or imperial units.
